Heart and Soul

How do we live our lives with more inspiration and less heartache? Our
souls radiate peace, love and presence while our hearts vacillate
between emotions. For example, if we get the job or the date or the
clean bill of health we are looking for, there is often great joy! But
if we don’t get what we are hoping for there can be tremendous sadness.
This cycle continues until we are awakened to our soul’s deepest
calling. The soul knows and understands that life is perfectly expressed in this moment and there is a profound intelligence in charge. This knowing brings a sense of relaxation, trust and ease rather than drama, grief and pain. It is when we resist our circumstances that we are actually blocking our soul’s ability to shift the situation to a higher level. The soul always moves to express unconditional love. The heart loves on an emotional level, but with conditions. When a person moves to an open, non-judgmental perspective, the soul can shine through. They can then align themselves more closely with their soul’s calling rather than living a life based on old programming, fears and limitations. To demonstrate this point, let’s take a client of mine named Jillian. She was 28 when she came to me for a psychic/channeled reading. She arrived looking disheartened and hopeless. Her tall, lean body and beautiful face were quickly diminished by her faint voice and low energy. She slumped into the chair and I soon found that she felt she was in a dead-end job, and that she had not found true love. In addition, she had health concerns and was struggling with being cut off from her family. This was her first psychic reading and she really didn’t know why she was there except that a little voice kept prompting her to call me. My guides instructed her to “follow her soul’s calling,” which for her meant quitting her job, going back to school to become a pediatric nurse and singing with other people. They assured her that her health would improve as she became happier and less stressed. I ran into Jillian four years after her session. I barely recognized her; she was so radiant and beautiful! She was excited to see me and shared that, although she had resisted the information that was given to her during the session, she finally made the leap and transformed her entire life. She healed her relationship with her family and is now working as a nurse and singing in a choir. She met the love of her life while singing and expressing one of her soul’s gifts. She is financially stable and incredibly healthy. I believe that her soul guided her to me because the deepest part of her wanted her to live life to its fullest. John Trudell has a quote that says , "Maybe that's what the soul is for, to take the hurt the heart can't take." The soul is quite clear, and while the heart can be troubled, the situation can be reversed. Take a moment today to listen to your soul’s message. Our souls want us to be fulfilled and can show us the way. We know we are living our soul’s calling when that still small voice within guides us to love more, laugh more, and utilize our gifts in service to others. |
